KINGDRILLING DTH PERAK SERIES HAMMER is designed with simple structure and unique conception make PERAK series become reliable, excellent and easy controllable drilling product. With different models from 3-33 inches which coupled with MB drilling bit, MSX, MRS, MNX pipe drilling system, PERAK series could deal with all kinds of different stratum drilling work. The diameter from 90-1200mm. Otherwise, we can also produce the custom size you need. Each type of DTH hammers are fitted with standard API connections, or others connections can be produced as follow to your requirements.
The operation of a DTH hammer is relatively straightforward yet highly effective. Compressed air powers the hammer, which strikes the drill bit at the bottom of the hole, fracturing the rock. The air flushes the drill cuttings back to the surface, clearing the hole for continued drilling.

a. Hole Size:
It is better for you to choose the one which the outside diameter is nearest to the hole diameter. This will reduce the hole collapse, and the hole cleaning is easier.
b. Air Consumption:
You must consider about the consumption of compressed air when you use the Pneumatic DTH hammer. Generally speaking, with the raising of the size of hammer, peak performance requires higher compressed gas consumption and lower pressure. In order to make sure each hammer will be used in the proper consumption of compressed air and pressure, please refer to the attachment.
c. Drill rig Capacity:
The larger bit and hammer will need the drilling rig to provide greater torque and promoting force, but do not exceed the maximum load of the drill. As for the other questions about drill ability, please consult your sales representative.
